CBS Outdoor International announces the appointment of Mike Moran as Managing Director of CBS Outdoor UK, part of the mass media company CBS Corporation. Moran will report to CBS Outdoor International CEO, Antonio Alonso.
In his new role, Moran will be responsible for spearheading growth with a focus on client and stakeholder relationships and operational excellence across CBS Outdoor’s market leading digital and out-of-home assets.

Moran has over 25 years of blue chip client experience across the automotive, utilities and media sectors. From 1982 - 1996, Moran spent 14 years at Ford Motor Company progressively rising through the ranks including roles as General Manager, Fleet Sales and Marketing for Ford of Britain, to Managing Director of Ford Espaňa, where he lead a business turnaround that took the company to market leadership for the first time in its history.
In 1996, Moran moved to Toyota (GB) PLC as Marketing Director and then Commercial Director, where he responsible for all Toyota brand sales, marketing, distribution and retailing in the UK. During this time, he oversaw seven consecutive years of sales growth and the highly successful repositioning of the brand in the UK marketplace.
From Toyota, Moran moved to RWE Thames Water Plc, a division of RWE AG, the third largest water company in the world, operating in 20 countries as Worldwide Director of Marketing and Strategy.
Most recently, Moran was Founder and Managing Partner of The Orchard Consultancy, a UK-based company specialised in advising clients on growth through improved business strategy, market planning and new business development. Moran focused on the media sector working with agencies such as Havas Media and Arena BLM and media owners including Yahoo!, Associated Newspapers and News International.
A well-known face in the advertising world, Moran was an active supporter of the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers, serving as Chairman of its Executive Committee whilst with Toyota. He is a member of the ASA’s General Media Council of the UK Committee of Advertising Practice and previously served three terms on the UK Government’s Advisory Committee on Advertising, reporting to the Cabinet Office. He speaks four languages, has studied in the UK, Switzerland and America and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and a Diploma of the Market Research Society.
