Built in August 1987, DLR was one of the first light rail systems in Britain and has expanded faster than any other UK railway. It now carries over 67 million passengers a year and consistently achieves record levels of reliability and passenger satisfaction. There are several railway extensions and enhancements already underway, including routes to Woolwich Arsenal, which opened in January 2009, and Stratford International, which will open in 2010. The railway will play a crucial role in the success of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

There are currently 40 stations operating across 19 miles of track, with over 700 advertising display units which we are transforming in line with those on LUL. Formats range from traditional 4s, 6s and 48s to the latest digital LCD screens at Canary Wharf.
