Viacom Outdoor retains the NITHC contract


The five-year advertising contract for the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company has been awarded for the second time to incumbent Viacom Outdoor.

The competitive tender process, involving stiff opposition from other Outdoor players sees Viacom Outdoor retain exclusive access to static advertising panels at all NITHC properties.

This includes all railway stations, bus Stations, freeholds and rail bridges in Northern Ireland and comprises approximately ninety 48 sheets, forty 6 sheets and 10 bridge spectaculars (landmarks).

Roy Walker, managing director of Viacom Outdoor Northern Ireland says "We are delighted once again to win the tender for the prestigious NITHC estate. This landmark portfolio underpins much of our roadside activity and keeps us at the forefront of outdoor advertising in Northern Ireland."

The contract is valued at approximately £2 million over 5 years.
